1. About Us

1.1 DolceHour is operated by DolceVisa® LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 15547884), with a registered office at 200a Stockport Road, Timperley, England, WA15 7UA.(“DolceHour”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1.2 You can contact us at hello@dolcehour.com

1.3 Our websites, mobile applications, event tools, waiting list and quizzes together form our Platform (”Platform”).

2. Scope and Agreement

2.1 These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

  • our Platform;

  • curated DolceHour experiences (each an “Experience”); and

  • any DolceHour corporate or private events, memberships or subscription plans (collectively, the “Services”).

2.2 By registering, booking, or attending an Experience, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Notice, and Cookie Notice (together, the “Policies”).

2.3 You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, acting in your own personal capacity (not as a business, unless booking a corporate event), and legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales.

3. Our Service

3.1 What DolceHour does:

DolceHour curates and organises themed, mood-based or archetype-led Experiences hosted at independent third-party venues (“Venues”) across London and other cities.

3.2 What DolceHour does not do:

DolceHour does not operate restaurants, bars, or venues; provide or sell food or drink; or act as a dating, networking, or matchmaking service.

3.3 Venue responsibilities:

Each Venue is an independent operator solely responsible for:

  • its premises, food, beverages, and service;

  • hygiene, safety, and licensing compliance; and

  • staff behaviour and insurance.

3.4 You acknowledge and accept that:

  • DolceHour does not control or inspect the preparation or service of food and beverages.

  • Any issues, losses or incidents that occur within the Venue are the Venue’s sole responsibility.

  • DolceHour acts solely as an event curator and facilitator and shall not be liable for Venue performance, food quality, menu accuracy, or allergen safety.

3.5 Experience content:

While we curate guest groups and themes, we do not guarantee specific participant numbers, demographics, compatibility, or outcomes.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 To attend an Experience, you must purchase a ticket through our Platform. The price shown is your curation fee.

4.2 The curation fee covers event design, coordination, and guest experience. It does not include food, drink, or Venue spend, which you will pay directly to the Venue.

4.3 Payment is processed securely through Stripe or another authorised processor. We do not store full card details.

4.4 All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

4.5 We reserve the right to correct clear errors or omissions in pricing or availability.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling, No-Shows & Refunds

5.1 Non-refundable tickets.

All DolceHour tickets (curation fees) are non-refundable once purchased.

5.2 Rescheduling (by you).

You may reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the event by emailing hello@dolcehour.com.

If you fail to notify us at least 24 hours in advance, your booking and payment are forfeited.

5.3 No-shows (same-day).

If you do not inform us of a cancellation by 12:00 PM on the event day, your booking is forfeited and rescheduling is not permitted.

5.4 Account restrictions for repeated no-shows.

  • Three (3) no-shows: booking ban for three months.

  • Two (2) no-shows: you must purchase an additional ticket before rebooking.

5.5 Refunds.

All purchases are non-refundable unless:

(a) DolceHour cancels the event, in which case we will offer a refund of the curation fee or a credit, at your choice; or

(b) a refund is required by law.

5.6 Our changes / cancellations.

We may make reasonable changes to a Venue, timing or format to ensure quality or safety. If we cancel and cannot provide a reasonably equivalent alternative, we will refund the curation fee or offer credit. We are not liable for secondary costs such as travel, accommodation, or childcare.

5.7 Late arrivals.

Doors close approximately 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. Entry after this time is at our discretion and not guaranteed. No refunds are issued for late arrivals.

6. Venue Responsibilities and Your Acknowledgements

6.1 You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Venues are independent businesses outside DolceHour’s control.

  • Venue staff are responsible for food, drink, health and safety, and service.

  • DolceHour shall not be liable for any act, omission, or negligence by a Venue or its staff.

  • Food and beverage prices, allergen risks, or menu changes are not set or guaranteed by DolceHour.

6.2 Dietary and allergy responsibility:

If you have allergies or intolerances, it is your duty to confirm ingredients and allergen procedures directly with Venue staff. We cannot guarantee allergen-free environments or contamination control.

6.3 Health and safety:

You attend each Experience voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for your own behaviour, wellbeing and belongings during the Experience.

6.4 Indemnity:

You agree to indemnify DolceHour against any claims, losses, damages or expenses arising from your conduct, failure to follow instructions, or breach of these Terms.

7. Conduct and Behaviour

7.1 DolceHour promotes safe, inclusive and respectful environments. You agree to:

  • behave responsibly and courteously towards all guests and staff;

  • follow reasonable instructions of DolceHour hosts and Venue staff; and

  • refrain from harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour.

7.2 We or the Venue may remove or refuse entry to any participant who breaches these standards or poses a safety or reputational risk. No refund will be provided.

7.3 You must not use any DolceHour event to promote products, services, or external organisations.

8. Image and Promotional Use

8.1 Event capture:

DolceHour may photograph or film Experiences to capture atmosphere and promote future events.

8.2 Acknowledgement:

By attending, you acknowledge and accept that DolceHour and its authorised partners may use, reproduce, and publish your image, voice, and likeness as captured in any photographs or recordings from the event, for lawful promotional purposes (including on social media, website, and print), without further approval or compensation.

8.3 Opt-out:

If you prefer not to appear in media, notify a DolceHour host on arrival. We will take reasonable steps to respect your preference (e.g., seating adjustments or exclusion from close shots).

8.4 User-generated content:

If you tag #MyDolceHour, mention @DolceHour, or share event-related content publicly, you grant DolceHour a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use and repost that content for marketing. You can withdraw future use by emailing hello@dolcehour.com with examples.

9. Memberships and Auto-Renewal

9.1 We may offer recurring membership plans with exclusive benefits.

9.2 Membership details, duration, and renewal frequency will appear at checkout.

9.3 Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled via your account or by email at least 48 hours before renewal.

9.4 New memberships may be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund if no benefits have been used.

9.5 We may change membership pricing with 30 days’ prior notice.

10. Acceptable Use of the Platform

You must not:

  • use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activity;

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;

  • harass or harm other users;

  • attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt our systems;

  • upload viruses, malware, or harmful code;

  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach this clause.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

11.2 Full details of what we collect, lawful bases, and your rights are set out in our Privacy Notice.

12. Liability

12.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities which cannot be limited by law.

12.2 Subject to that:

  • DolceHour shall not be liable for the acts, omissions, or negligence of any Venue, its staff, or third-party suppliers;

  • DolceHour shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss (including travel, accommodation, or data loss); and

  • DolceHour shall not be liable for another guest’s actions or behaviour.

12.3 Limitation:

Our total liability for any Experience shall not exceed the curation fee paid for that Experience.

For Memberships, our total annual liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

12.4 We provide the Platform with reasonable care and skill but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, epidemics, pandemics, power or transport failures, severe weather, fire, flood, terrorism, or governmental restrictions.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 These Terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14.2 If a dispute arises, please contact hello@dolcehour.com in the first instance.

14.3 If unresolved, you may use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider.

14.4 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time for business, operational, or legal reasons.

15.2 We will give reasonable notice by email or website notice before material changes take effect.

15.3 For existing bookings, the Terms in force at purchase apply.

16. Suspension and Termination

16.1 We may suspend or terminate your account or booking (with refund only where legally required) if:

  • you breach these Terms;

  • your conduct endangers others or damages DolceHour’s reputation; or

  • suspension is required for safety, legal or security reasons.

16.2 We may close inactive accounts after 24 months of inactivity, subject to prior notice.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Policies constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

17.2 Severance: If any provision is invalid, the remainder shall remain effective.

17.3 No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive future enforcement.

17.4 Assignment: We may transfer our rights and obligations. You may not assign yours without consent.

17.5 Third-Party Rights: No person other than you and us has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
